WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?
No marriage is perfect. How could it be? It's the union of two sinful people. Sin plus sin does not tend to beget holiness!
But marriage is vital. It is, Paul says in Ephesians, the most potent illustration of the relationship between Jesus and his bride, the Church. This is tremendously good news! It means that if we want to know how to have a better marriage, we need only look as far as Jesus and how he loves and serves the Church. Plus, if we want to know Christ better, working toward a healthier relationship with our spouses will show us more and more what Jesus is like.
That's our hope for this two-part marriage event: that you will leave with a deeper love for Jesus and a better understanding of how to frame your marriage relationship so that it glorifies God and flourishes.
The evenings will include dinner, video teaching, prayer, discussion, and live Q&A.
We are not providing childcare for two reasons: one, the lateness of the event, and two, we want you to be able to focus on the content and your spouse without the potential distraction of children. The nursing mom's room will be available as needed for moms who need it.
